The Leading Lady of My Own Life

After one month, I start to hunt new jobs. Yesterday I went to a Singapore HR company to find temporary opportunities.  But it's pity I have no MIS experience. I am a software engineer only.

I open my resume on jobbank, some companies read my resume, but none asks for an interview with me.

I try to figure out the reasons, maybe I apply wrong jobs, in the beginning I choose the programmer or SA, but the job maybe only needs junior, I already have worked for eight and half years, maybe they don't want to hire who is  over 30 years. Then I think I don't have any software licenses(but I have IBM websphere adiminstrator certification but I don't know where the paper is), I think certification is necessary for applying job because textbooks and real work are totally different situation. However my background is not computer science and I don't graduated from IT department.

Frankly speaking, long time ago, I have already known I will change to another field one day, won't be an IT engineer.

I asked for interviews to four companies today, after one week, it's Chinese New Year. I know maybe before the long holiday, I won't get any interview opportunities, even temporary job for assistant.

Maybe I should change to retail industry to be a store clerk to kill time.
