Night, maybe you don't need me.

From the world’s reach,

a shell without a pearl’s seed,

I’m thrown on your beach.

You move indifferent seas,

and always sing,

but you will still be pleased,

with this superfluous thing.

You lie nearby on the shore,

wrapped in your chasuble,

and the great bell of the waves’ roar,

you will fasten to the shell.

你會緊貼著他，仰臥在沙灘，身上還裹著你原先的衣裙。你會和他連結在一起，要分也難，被那水浪奏出的洪亮鐘聲。於是，一隻外壁鬆脆的貝殼，恰似一間空蕩的心的小屋，被你充滿了，用喃喃的泡珠，用輕風，用細雨，用海上迷霧……
