其實最讓人訝異的是42歲才第一次入選明星賽的Tim Wakefield，人生總有第一次咩，老蝴蝶 

這天賽前Wakefield接受採訪，他笑的可開心，沒想到42歲可入選明星賽(PS.最老的是1952年的Paige 45歲才入選)

Wakefield擅長的是蝴蝶球Knuckleball ，大聯盟沒幾個投手會投這種球路。

Nomar脫帽與曾經支持他的紅襪迷說聲感謝，從1996-2004年七月，Nomar一直是Red Sox代表人物，他也是我認識的第一個紅襪球員。但是在04年七月底，帥GM Theo把Nomar交易到小熊，最悲情的是好像被laid off，Nomar根本來不及回Boston跟球迷說掰掰。從此之後，Nomar的怨念rumor就不斷出現，紅襪總是找不到一個好的SS，簽了Lugo又被大家嫌，Lowrie好不容易有點成績偏偏又受傷。

04年的關於Nomar被交易出去的新聞 

"They can take the shirt off my back, but they can't take away the memories I got," he said. "They can't take away the standing ovation that I got when I came back this season when I walked up to the plate. Or the standing ovation I got when I hit the grand slam this year. Or when I hit three home runs on my birthday . Every time I stepped up to the plate, the fans cheered for me. When I went deep in the hole to make a play, they'll never be able to take away that. What it's meant to me, they all know that every single day I went out there and I was proud to put that uniform on and what it represented."

Nomar這樣說著，在這紅襪九年期間Nomar給球迷太多了，這也難怪04拿到WS冠軍，紅襪還是打了冠軍戒指給Nomar。 

Nomar不知是否回到熟悉的球場，今天打擊表現很好，最後紅襪還掛零，可憐的老史，先發再度失敗。
